Text Box: Lab Fees vs. Booster Fundraising

The lab fees you pay go directly to supporting the unit’s needs.  It covers uniforms, music (we have to purchase it), show design (we are talented, but there are limits), transportation of equipment to away events, and coaching.  There are multiple coaches who come in and work with the students on marching and music.  Every division receives additional coaching.  Food is even supplied to help keep kids nourished and hydrated and to alleviate parents from having to drop off dinners camp and long rehearsals.

Booster Fundraising goes to paying for many different things, but the bulk of our fundraising goes to purchasing items needed to help our music program grow.  We pay for musical instruments, instrument repair, uniform replacement and repair, as well as microphones, sound systems, props and so much more.  It even pays for newsletters like the one you are reading, parent preview night, cookies and drinks at concerts, and other hospitality events like our very special senior dinner.
